Here at Image fitness Centre

We provide all you need to achieve your goals. We have worked hard to facilitate this by employing fully qualified, motivated, helpful and approachable staff. We have made all our classes free to our members. When you join we will write you a program and then give you periodic reviews of your training. We also provide free advice on food and nutrition when you need it and if that’s not enough come and ask us and we will do our best to help.
At Image Fitness Club we have a wide range of passionate trainers who specialise in; injuries, muscle strength, muscle growth and weight loss. We offer sports therapy and massage, so we can help with all aspects of endurance training and specific injury advice.

Here at Image Fitness Club we can’t wait to get you motivated and getting those results. With a wide variety of training techniques, our trainers are really a force to be reckoned with on the PT circuit and will guarantee results!

Our aim is to provide everything you need; all you’ve got to do is get here.

Good health is important.

The first thing to say is that you can’t move forward or make changes to something you don’t really know about. So write down everything you eat, WHEN YOU EAT IT! For at least a week. Then by the end of the week you will have a list of everything you have put in, not what you THINK you’ve put in!

From there it’s about trying to improve those choices. So think about this as a decision breaker. Every meal you have will either take you closer to, or further from your goal, you choose!!


This is a huge subject and more than any other concern is VERY specific to you. Here we can really only give rough advice but again we have to say come and talk to our trainers who can help you.

A rough guide and some general advice.

R.I.C.E. This is a good rule of thumb for all injuries in the first instance.

R – is for Rest
I – Is for ICE
C – is for compression
E – is for Elevation

Listen to your body!

Basically, if it hurts stop! This might sound silly but so many people don’t listen to their body and will just keep ploughing on with their routine until they are stopped by either the injury or hopefully an eagle eyed trainer!

Do as you are told and Rest!

If you are recovering from an injury then follow the advice of the professional that has given it. We see so many people get back to the gym to early and end up causing more problems. Rest is vital to recovery, so much so that without it you won’t recover properly.

Sprains, Strains and tears.

Guessing exactly what an injury is could make this worse so if you are in any doubt then seek qualified advice.
